Privacy

Your videos stay on your device. The converter, GIF maker, audio extractor, merger, trimmer and rotator all run FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly inside your browser tab. Files are read from your disk and results are created in your browser's memory. We never receive, see or store them.

What is downloaded. The first time you use a tool, your browser downloads the FFmpeg engine (about 31 MB) from this website. Nothing about your file is sent with that request.

FFmpeg command helper. This is the only feature that sends anything to a server: the text you type into the helper is sent to our API and processed by an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write or explain an FFmpeg command. Don't paste private information there. Requests are not stored by us beyond short-lived server logs, and a simple per-IP rate limit is applied.

Analytics. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data.

Local storage. The command helper remembers your last few prompts in your browser's localStorage so you can re-run them. You can clear it here or on the helper page.

No accounts, no cookies set by us, no advertising trackers.
